About Me: the journey
From Fundraising to Flour
For years, while working in fundraising at Johns Hopkins, I found myself daydreaming about topics like the chemistry of meringues, obsessively Googling how many times to fold puff pastry, and how to make my buttercream not sickly sweet. I had always enjoyed baking, however never seriously considered it as a career as I believed this would suck all of the joy out of the experience. When the world paused in 2020, my apartment kitchen became my sanctuary. What started as sharing treats with neighbors evolved into a late-night obsession. After having my second child, I learned how to balance motherhood by day and mastering the architecture of sugar cookie designs by night.
Today, those quiet midnight baking sessions have grown into a full-time pursuit. As a lifelong Baltimorean, I am proud to have a Cottage Goods license for my home, as well as operating out of Our Time Kitchen with a full catering license through Baltimore City.
I’ve had the honor of collaborating with iconic brands like Natty Boh, creating bespoke macarons for institutions like Hopkins, and even sweetening up the green room for Teddy Swims. Because everything I do is bespoke, I get to know my customers on an intimate level and it is my absolute joy to share even a little piece of everyone’s celebrations and events.
My mission is simple: to bake your vision into reality. Desserts can be incredibly tasty while also being a visual piece of art.
